The is a netphone already have the net. The quality isn't that great because of the lack of bandwith. What this new technology would provide is that someone could call on a pay phone or fax you something and you could retrieve it via the net.

The use of netphones would require an increase in bandwith which AOL and many others are working on.

Seems like this is something to keep an eye on
