The Feelings thread was created to be a place where we could relax, vent, laugh..we can get pretty silly, whimsical, and occasionally sad here. The groundrules are simple. We try to be kind to each other.

I read the posts and actually thought Alex was just being very funny. There's a lot of hyperbole and exaggeration that goes on here, and a good bit of fantasy. I feel confident Alex was merely playing with the idea that your post sparked. (Am I making you sound like a creative genius, Alex?)

Meanness will usually provoke group unification and action-we tolerate teasing but not ugliness. We self-regulate pretty successfully.
In other words, don't go. Stick around and have a beer. (Alexa-did you get to the store?)
