Robert: You make a good point.

4 Qt 1998 Viagra sales did include initial European stocking and 1 Qt 1999 Viagra sales did not include any Canada and Japan stocking...these sales will be recorded in 2 Qt. I do not believe these facts were mentioned in the PFE press release.

Similar to MSFT, PFE uses their EPS reports to guide analysts' estimates to be reachable, reasonable and conservative. Although this policy tends to result in short-term volatility, it does work long-term .....and does provide great buying opportunities for investors.
