INFOWAVE AND SAMSUNG ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
Partnership enables Samsung to target fast-growing Apple® printing market
Burnaby, British Columbia, April 19, 1999 – Infowave Software, Inc. (VSE: IWM) today announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., the $17 billion electronics industry leader. The partnership enables Samsung to expand into the fast-growing Apple Macintosh® market and further strengthens Infowave's leadership position in providing Apple printing solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Infowave will provide customized private-label versions of its award-winning PowerPrint® software to be included in-box with new Samsung printers. Samsung will market the printers as multi-platform compatible with PC and Macintosh computers. The first results of the collaboration are expected to be available to end-users in North America and Europe in May.
