Also surprising is the number of subscribers who have threatened to
discontinue service with Iridium if they are not able to get complete global coverage at all time when traveling.

This seems very odd as no other service is even planning global coverage (except inmarsat which becomes less useful as you get further from the equator).

Its not like the captain of a cargo ship is going to get upset at Iridiums pricing and switch to Globalstar.
