EPS for 1999:

I figured I'll be bold this week and make a prediction for 1999 earnings, calculations are crude and a first order approximation;

- current reporting Brewery remains "stagnant" at 1.4 M hectolitres
(contributed to .50 eps) or 60% capacity
- Northern Brewery dispute is settled, at 60% capacity, they
produce 1.3 M hectolitres (contributes at least .47 eps)
- no arbitration costs (was .12 per share last year)

total EPS estimate: .50 + .47 + .12 = $1.09 !

NMO indicates that Northern Breweries is owed $11M or so from former Chairman LEI, so control may require partial or payment of this one time sum. Recall that previous years earnings from the Northern Breweries has not been paid to NMO.

Any opinions on this crude EPS approximation?

Share price prediction: At 7X PE, $7 or a double from here.
