I've been thinking (wow that's dangerous, I'll try to keep it under control) that ATM is a critical piece of technology for the next generation of telco services being deployed. All services will soon be high speed, around a megabit, data services. The internet, phone calls, fax, video conferencing, movies, etc. will shortly be integrated and deployed by the various telcos using ATM technology.

There are two remaining ATM makers left. To compete with cisco and lucent in this highly lucrative rollout, companies such as Eryc etc. need to buy either NN or Fore. I have studied both of these companies in detail from a technical perspective and I like Fore better. Notice NN got dumped in the Global One deal in favor of Cisco. It dropped the share price. NN is also quite a bit more expensive to buy from a market capitalization point of view. I believe Fore is poised to be taken over and Monday could be it. I was impressed with the strength of Fore yesterday. The number of 50k blocks being bought above the ask indicates that there was almost panic buying taking place.

I am also curious regarding NN. A 14 point jump on 4/15 tell's me that something is going on there. I will do a little DD on NN and post more there later.

I hold firm that Fore is next and I am feeling early next week is it.
I also will raise buyout price from 33+ to 35+ due to Friday's runnup.
Holders of Fore sould be smiling.
Great pick Tim.
All comments are welcome.
Smiles,
Glenn
