Does anyone know if CSCC is still the price performance leader in frame relay or ATM? Is frame relay doomed to die, being replaced by ATM? I think FORE may be better in ATM these days. Anyone know?

To respond to your post.....I think a merger between ascend and cascade would make a lot of sense. Ascend is the leader in supplying remote axess solutions to ISPs. Cascade is the leader in supplying switches.

I don't think a cisco-cascade merger would make sense at all, because Cisco's stratacom unit directly competes with cascade.
