Comparisons with Ballard needn't be detrimental to one firm or the other, imho.
They may work somewhat like the NWT diamond exploration industry, where success by one firm raises general awareness of the sector, which pulls in investment dollars which lift all boats. It's not a fixed-sum game, where if one wins the other loses, not at this point anyway, imho. It always amazes me how people on one NWT diamond stock thread will object to the posting of a news release from another NWTDS. No conflict whatsoever imho, it's all related and success breeds success in the development stages. After this post I'm off to the Ballard thread to catch up - #Subject-3535

In front of me is a printed Midland Walwyn writeup by Christine Farkas from Spring '97 [21/03/97 (33.00)] - "RECOMMENDATION: We believe near-term prospects for the stock are driven by environmental legislation, bus demonstracion programs, and the company's continued success in meeting milestones. We believe Ballard is currently being driven by news and view the company's potential markets and penetration as attractive. We rate the stock as a 1-Buy."

"... the company's continued success in meeting milestones."

Significantly positive for gle, that phrase, imho - as it was for bld ... cheers, all
