Just a comment. I have several brokers (don't ask) and money I play with at 2 of them, both Smith Barney in different locations. The one with the pension & p/s is always trying to get me to sell gnet and buy again at a lower price. He says the internets are so volatile that it is still risky. They recommend the leaders (AOL) because they are relatively risk-free. Perhaps that volatility is one reason the big brokerage firms do not recommend gnet, because it is still lesser-known. (About to change , tho!)
