Tang, I made a big mistake this week. I was in meetings most of the week so I could not check on the market like I usually do. So, I put in a stop limit order at $140. Never thought AOL would reach $140 but I put the stop limit in for peace of mind. On Thursday, AOL went as low as $135. The stop limit executed and I was out of AOL. Friday morning, all I heard was good news, I remember the post RocketMan made when he got out and had to buy back at a higher price. So, all day Friday I watch until I could no longer wait and got back in at $144. What did this do for me? It cost me $2,000 more to get back in and now I have to pay capital gain taxes on $22,000 in 1999. Was it worth it, NO!

From this point on, I will only sell if the fundamentals change or bad news or if I don't believe in the company any longer. I am now real long and strong waiting for earnings to come out. I am happy it only cost me $2,000 to get back in.
