What is your evidence for pump-and-dump? If you were watching the Ax (SDLR), then you would have come to the opposite conclusion. In the last two hours of trading, SDLR was aggressively raising the bid with 2000-5000 share blocks - they were bidding all the way up. There were also several unfilled bids by other market makers for several thousand shares who had to chase the price all the way to the close.

The other clue is that USAB had run-up to 11 earlier in the day, and SDLR was aggressively moving to the inside offer all the way down to 9, clearly trying to scare people out of the stock. The end-of-the-day run was clearly real, and it was based on real news.
