The service pays members to be online in exchange for putting the AllAdvantage.com Viewbar™ at the bottom of their browser window when surfing.

I'm sure many of you are probably sick of looking at this by now, but if you haven't visited thier site yet I suggest you check out the link below. Also I think there is a thread for this company somewhere here on SI.

What is AllAdvantage.com all about? How do I "Get Paid to Surf the Web?" How does the referral payment system work? When do I get paid? Where does all the money come from? When can I start? Are there any rules or restrictions? Is this available internationally? Can I participate on more than one computer? Do I need to buy anything? What if I want to quit? What is your privacy policy? Will I get junk email? What else can I get at AllAdvantage.com? Is the Viewbar™ compatible with WebTV or the Mac? What if I still have questions?
What is AllAdvantage.com all about? Getting you, the members, the most benefits from the Web. AllAdvantage.com uses the power of a large group to get the most value from the Internet to its members. This means giving members the ability to "Get Paid to Surf the Web" (which we do with our Viewbar™) and to get cash refunds from on-line shopping (which most on-line stores already pay to large groups, but you as an individual rarely see), just to name a couple. AllAdvantage.com pays its own members referral fees to increase the size of the group instead of spending millions of dollars on advertising on the Yahoo!, Excite, television or the radio. Since AllAvantage.com is solely on the Internet, the referral system is much easier than the old word of mouth. AllAdvantage.com is the next natural step that the Internet is taking.

How do I "Get Paid to Surf the Web?" Sign up to be a member. It's free. It's fast (one minute - no survey to fill out). You get a member ID# immediately upon joining. Then you are eligible to download our Viewbar™. You will get a welcome email with an approximate date that you can download the Viewbar™. The Viewbar™ will be made available on a first come, first served basis, so it pays to sign up early. The Viewbar™ is a small bar (a little taller than the Windows 95/98 Taskbar at the bottom of your screen). The Viewbar™ comes up automatically at the bottom of your Web browser when you go online. While you are on the Net and the Viewbar™ is active, AllAdvantage.com will pay you $.50 per hour. Currently we have a 40 hour limit per month ($20). You can get the Viewbar™ off your screen at any time with just one click. Click here to see a demonstration of the Viewbar™.

How does the referral payment system work? The chart below demonstrates the AllAdvantage.com referral payment system. In words: For every person you refer to AllAdvantage.com, we will pay you $.10 for every hour that each of those people is online with the Viewbar™ active. In addition, we will pay you for extended referrals at the rate of $.05 per hour. Extended referrals are those referrals made by the members that you referred to AllAdvantage.com. Extended referrals continue for four people past your original referral (the chart below illustrates). There is no limit to the number of referrals you can get paid for, up to 40 hours per person per month. |
