Current sales of MUSE and the stock price of VVUS reflect the drug's effectiveness and the attractiveness of the delivery method once Viagra became available. I can't believe that MCHM's transdermal medication will be more effective and have less side effects than a medication delivered transurethrally. Each will have to make their own evaluation regarding the acceptability of the method of administration but I predict it isn't going to go over well.

The urologist that I associate most with MCHM is Irwin Goldstein, M.D., Professor of Urology at the Boston University School of Medicine. I have heard him speak. I believe Dr. Goldstein's main objective is to get Irwin Goldstein's name in the paper or an interview on TV. I wouldn't feel good about having him on "my team".

I expect MCHM's product will work for a small group of patients and will find a niche in the market even smaller than MUSE's. Whether that small niche is enough to keep the company afloat is a reasonable question. They do have some other products under development but those are still further in the future. Whether the current representation of the market potential for this drug represents chicanery or not is a matter of interpretation.

Managers of both companies (VVUS and MCHM) do not seem to be exactly stellar. If you are looking for a double in say two years, can't you find a more likely vehicle? Just my opinion.
