I cannot speak for all men, but I'll say this about one.

Some folks feel that there is a continuum between lovemaking and rape. For me, that is not so. There is a line. The line is drawn where consent is broken. I don't mean that lovers or seekers-after-seduction can't say a coy sly "no, stop" ... the rules are labyrinthine ... but there is a more or less obvious point at which one participant is locking out the other's options.

I cannot cross that line - I would wilt. I simply cannot get into the head of a man who has a stiffy while getting violent. It's that simple for me. So I can imagine that rape ... isn't sex, even though it "walks and quacks like a duck". It is something awful disguised as a sexual act. Does this make any sense?
