I don't seem to be expressing myself clearly at all tonight. Of course rape is violent, and motivated by a desire to have sex violently, even to use sex as a way of hurting the object, as a weapon. Of course! That's why it's called 'rape' instead of 'seduction' or 'lovemaking.'

Of course a rapist is a twisted creature who is lashing out violently.

Violence itself may be what is eroticized for him.

But it is erotic for him, or he wouldn't get an erection and ejaculate.

It is more significant that the vast, vast, vast majority of women who are raped are sexually viable in their appearance than that the occasional rapist gets off sexually by inflicting violence on an old woman.

Of course rape isn't 'very' sexual to you or me or Lather. We aren't turned on by force and violence, we are repelled by it.

But to some twisted, hurt, angry men, the fear produced in his victim when he rapes her is sexually stimulating.

People just hate that, and i realized that when I made my un-PC post. It satisfies something in us, I think, to declare that those monsters who are sexually turned on by fear are not sexually turned on by fear, they're just... expressing their rage. What's that in his pants? Looks like an erection to me.

Sometimes a rapist (like other men performing other sorts of sexual acts) tries, but can't perform, unsurprisingly; but he can still produce the fear that excites him.
