KYOM will get a 6% cut of the lottery kiosk revenues. Quite a big cut I believe, since their expenses only amount to 1% or so. It's a lot more than AMEX or VISA or M/C gets. That should result in nice earnings down the road when all 200-300 Internet kiosks are in place.

The Vietnamese government offered only 4% and they turned it down. Obviously it was smarter to concentrate in China initially and get 6% of a much bigger market.

By the way, I think it is significant that the Chinese people can also enter the lottery from regular computer systems. The kiosks are going to make it easier for the masses to enter, since they LOVE to gamble way more than the average American, but obviously most do not have personal computers in their homes. The kiosk operation is quick and much like our ATM machines or our own lottery systems.

China is a sleeping giant and the standard of living is way better than it used to be. And just like in the U.S. it is the poorer people that make up a big % of the entries for lotteries.

Remember, too, that the government highly endorses the lottery and KYOM is the first to help introduce it in China. Always good to be first.

I hope many help do DD and call Orville and others. We are still finding out more each day. Good luck everyone next week.
