Monique, I have been an AOL shareholder since last Nov. I figure I have a cost basis of about $44. If I had sold my AOL at $160, I would have had a nice profit of $116, however, I would owe Uncle Sam $32.48 (28% or so). Now $160-32.50= $127.50. That 127.50 is where I'd have to buy my AOL shares back to break even of my sale. At the time I did not believe AOL would retrace to the $127 area. By selling and taking profit, the only one that makes out is Uncle Sam and my broker. In addition I could not think of another stock I'd rather own for the next 5 years.

Good investing,
DD
