I hope that they are not going to try and make MAT into a software giant. I think the push is to make an across-the-board kid's product company. Kid's software just happens to be a good growth market at this time (as evidenced by the Barbie CD sales). I have the pleasure(??) of owning some GTIS and about the only bright spot in their lineup at the moment is Humongous, a kid's edutainment software co.
