AJ, I would agree that your conjecture above has some validity to it. But it's a mere educated conjecture, and even assuming it's correct, why not join in for the ride. For instance, on Wednesday, I noticed BEST was engineering a short squeeze on FLBK, and I hopped on for the ride from 16 1/2 to 34. Did I for one minute believe that FLBK worth 16 a share? no way. But I would be nuts to miss a ride with the mighty Bear Stearns for 18 pts in 2 hours.

That said, USAB is a much, much better company than FLBK. The past is not a predicator of the future, but since USAB executes its brick and mortar business so well, I would at least give it the benefit of the doubt about its ability to execute on the net.
