Randy, I rarely trade during the first fifteen minutes of the day, so I'm not qualified to answer specifically to this time.

I see these messages too, but often it appears that what is really slow is confirmation of an order and cancellation of an order. In most cases, isn't the actual execution still quite fast (say, under 30 seconds?), and it's the confirmation that is slow in coming.

That's the best outcome of a bad situation, and I don't know how true it is. I know you can do a lot of damage trying to cancel and reenter orders when there seems to be no action on your marketable order.

I rely on Daily Activity and have not paid close attention to the messages. I'm going to monitor them more closely to see if they give an edge in speed when the Daily Activity is slow.
