Correction: PFE did announce that "1 Qt earnings did not reflect Viagra sales from Japan and Canada". pfizer.com BigKNY3 "Viagra's worldwide sales were $193 million. First launched in the U.S. in April 1998, more than 9 million prescriptions have been written for more than 4 million patients in the U.S. alone. One in three U.S. doctors have written a prescription for Viagra, including over 95 percent of urologists, 70 percent of cardiologists, and half of all primary care physicians. Viagra has been approved in 77 countries and launched in 62 through the end of the quarter. The impact of recent launches in Japan and Canada will be reflected in second-quarter results.
