one positive post taken from yahoo message board. A lot of negatives but then I only picked the answer I liked! Merrill Lynch disagrees with Montgomery by: rickagreenjr 12608 of 12638 Though I rarely leave messages on these chat lines, I felt compelled to enter my "2 cents" on the recent panic on EMC. Having used a Merrill Lynch broker for years, I have learned to trust and follow his advice on their "top" companies, one of which has been and is "EMC". He advises me that EMC will announce earnings on Tuesday, and beat the analysts estimates. He also advised me to buy more at this level, his actual words were "buy all you can afford". I still believe that this company was, is, and still will be one of the true "powerhouses" that will be rapidly growing due to technology, Y2K, and the internet.
