Let's look at another issue: KOREA
The company decided in 1998 to write off it's Korean investment. A prudent step IMO given the then prevailing economic conditions.
BUT things have changed! The KOSPI index has recovered to 725 from it's low of under 300 in early 1998. That's give or take 140%! Check the chart: quote.yahoo.com^KS11&d=2y
In other words, the Korean economy is well on it's way to a full recovery. Asian markets have once again become the flavor of the day with many analysts predicting them to outperform North America and Europe in the near to mid term.
Could it be the right time to resurrect the Korean projects?
I think so but considering how many times I have been wrong in the past, I'd very much like to know how you girls/guys feel about this possibility.
