Jack,
The two previous posts were very interesting. I find the conceptual arguments leading to the NYMEX control of prices very perceptive.
Oilmen in West Texas have hated the "paper barrel" trading since it started. It has totally eroded our stability with a constantly moving price, subject to rumors.
You are well read in this field, and I wanted to thank you for sharing the information. For those of us hanging on, our reward is fast approaching.
