To All: Help me understand something. I read that the
range of these ADSL systems is only 10,000 feet. The
phone companies are therefore faced with getting high speed
digital data to within 10,000 feet of each home. How do
they plan to do this? If they have to string fiber, ADSL
still seems to be an expensive proposition.
