So total hypermart traffic is probably way under-counted by tracking services like Mediametrix and Nielsen Net ratings.

I don't think the domain name matters to those ratings services. As I understand it, they base their counts on server hits. Since the HyperMart server is still being hit even when an aliased domain name name is used for a page, it would count as a HyperMart page view.

As an example, I just picked a page at random from the HyperMart directory. It takes me to "trippido.hypermart.net". But that company has its own domain name "www.acsports.com". Using either address would still count as a hit on the trippido server at hypermart.net.
