Dore bars are pure metal; ie. Gold and Silver. The refiner simply seperates the gold and the silver. Copper refiners disolve the copper and plate it out using DC current. It is about 99.9% pure. They are left with a sludgle with may contain a bunch of stuff including Gold Silver, Platinum, Tellurium , etc. etc. Some refineries recover these and some sell them to another more specialized refinery. Usually when you have a product to go to the refiner, there should not be a lot of mystery left to it. Refiners deal in metal, not mystery solutions. Usually Tim Hall
