Hi Bernie, I remember that you've been at the "Dogs" thing for a while. It's low in activity, but seems to have been rewarding so far for you.

A show on local public TV was again mentioning that there's been some increasing activity in the smaller cap stocks. There was a good interview with David Dreman on the show as well. He's convinced that the internet prices are a bubble waiting to pop. Interesting to listen to - he's a "value investor" and always has been. That has him buying stocks when everyone else hates them.

I noted that Louis Rukeyser mentioned the Russell 2000's recent strength as well. Since most of my $$$ is in smaller cap stocks I won't mind if the trend continues.

Speaking of income, I added to my GSF position this last week with some shares at $7-13/16. Effective yield is about 11.6% at that price. This was an AIM designated buy and added about 5% to my holding there. I also have a REIT holding that generates income as well.

Keep us posted on your "timing" situation. Do you see any correlation between it and the IW?

Best regards, Tom
