To All: As the Wave homepage indicates, Wave will be attending the New Media Seminar in NYC at the Empire Hotel on April 30 and May 1st. What the Wave homepage does not say but the New Media Seminar webpage does indicate is that Wave is a principle sponsor of this event. While it may come down to simple economics (the fees to sponsor may be so low as to get a big bang for their buck.), does anyone else think it curious that Wave would choose to be a sponsor of this particular event? Would any one else care to speculate on this?

Also, as I recall several folks are in NYC. Are any of you planning to drop by? If so would you comment on what transpires back to those of us on the board?

Finally, on the schedule for the New Media Seminar there is to be a Special Presentation on the first day from 10:10am to 10:55am. I have to wonder what this could be about. My 'pipe dream', and this is my wild blue speculation and hope, is that this is Wave telling those radio personalities in attendance how they can generate revenue for their programs under a new distribution pattern and payment scheme. Instead of syndicating their shows to stations they could use the Wave system to 'sell' their programs directly to their listening public. No more hassles with stations, syndicators or dealing with anyone but their listening public. Any thoughts?
