Couild there ever be a good reason for AOl, Cascade, and Ascemd to join forces in capturing the Educational Market by collaborating financially and technologically in installing their high-powered high speed equipment: Switches, Frame Relays, ATM, Remote Access equipment and ISP products in the form of a consortium of interrelated products and expertise in the University and Community College market? UC Berkeley and other colleges and universities are about to hold a conference to speak about forming such a consortium to finance, develop, and mutually operate a high-speed ISP system to serve their vast educational needs and supply their infrastructure.
