Why pay $10 when their free site has same-day filings available:
freeedgar.com

I read the prosp. and was shocked to see that for the latest FY, they lost $2M. revs. of $2M. You have 10,000 companies filing a minimum of 4 documents a year. How can the revs. be so low? I remember reading once that the electronic filing fee is about $150 or so, so that should mean over $6M in annual revenues (600 X 10000).
Why don;t they jack up the price? The SEC filing fees for a 10-K is $25,000. For a registration statement its over $100,000. Maybe EDGAR should rethink its business model. Still, the IPO should be a smash - nice recurring revenue stream and as more IPOs come, the company's top line grows from the expanded company base. I don't think they have any need for a sales force, either.
