I've watched Compaq since 1986, beginning while in the early stages of retail selling, clone fights, cache races. I've always like the company, for many reasons, but don't presently own the stock (have owned 3 times in 11 years..first time in October 1987).
IMHO, Compaq needs Rod Canion back. I stumbled on the following a few minutes ago. In summary, he's "available," appears to hold no grudges, and he's GOTTA be lying about liking a private life......LOL. I have my fingers crossed. Reminds me of Apple:Jobs, Apple:no Jobs, Apple: Jobs.
