I would think the resignation of Pfeiffer is only good for Compaq and the whole tech sector tomorrow. I used to hold CPQ shares until late last year, and I know CPQ investors lost confidence in Pfeiffer since the purchase of Digital (DEC). The late earnings warning really did him in. Under the leadership of Pfeiffer, Compaq lost credibility.

This should boost the tech sector tomorrow.
