Evidence of Zip Dominance?
The following are two posts from today's AOL IOM board.

I always scan the MacMall catalogs I'm sent for relative showing of Zip vs SuperDisk. As recently as the last issue, Imation had a LARGE presence... nearly as common as Zip, featured on front and back pages and pushed for the IMac's. This issue appears to represent an enormous sea change.
They are offering a free Zip or 56K Modem with any new G3 purchase. There is no Imation drive to be seen on any of the IMac or G3 spreads. No list for Imation under Manufacturer Index. No list of the SuperDrive under the Product Index. Zip is everywhere. Iomega, VST, Winstation, Microtech... all making zip drives
The only way I could find the SuperDisk was by turning every page and finding ONE mention, next to the one Orb featured on the USB Peripherals page, (along with 3 zip variations).
IMHO SuperDisk is dead in the water!
Unfortunately, there is no sign of Clik! I guess it's not Mac compatible yet.

I agree. Just received a new Compaq catalog. The only storage product in the entire catalog was the Zip drive. No mention of Superdisk, Orb or anything except ZIP!
The Zip was either standard or an option on every desktop and notebook Compaq offered.
