Bill, short term CPQ will sweat but long term I have faith in Ben Rosen turning the co around. There will be job cuts, Alta Vista spin off, more internet sales of computers,better integration of DEC and Tandem and probably we'll see mergers or takeovers of some of the boxmakers.
Computers are here to stay... it's a way of life. CPQ will reinvent itself. My guess is that the stock price will be up tomorrow. SR
