Ron,

Taking a look at this one from your RSN update -- it is very intriguing. I have a bunch of questions, many of which you probably are not at liberty to answer on a public board such as this.

1) Why are they sometimes so late in publishing earnings reports? I noticed they didn't announce 4Q '97 until 5/15/98!! Are we to expect to have to wait until 5/15/99 to hear how they did for 4Q '98?

2) Trying to get a handle on the size of the market this company's products addresses. You say in the thread intro that the Remote Sensing market is expected to be several billion $$. Is that market the same product that TSI sells or is it the main satellite itself?

3) Does TSI have any significant source of recurring revenue, or is it always going to depend on getting its revenue in these separately negotiated blockbuster contracts? This makes it hard to put a multiple on earnings since there is no predictablity that any given quarter's historical earnings will recur in the future.

3) Who are TSI's main competitors? I would suspect that they are immense companies with multi-billion $$$ market caps. Wouldn't customers be much more likely to go with a more solid company than TSI for a product, even if TSI's is better, just because the other company has more likelihood of still being around in a few years when its time for upgrades, modifications, etc.?

4) What's the story with this weird foreign guy that owns a bunch of the company? How did that situation come about, if this was a spinoff from NASA? When is the company going to announce what the deal is re: the $5 mm he anted up to pay off the loan last year? Until this arrangement is announced the number of shares out on this company is suspect.
