Yes, I write, and rewrite things for other people. Mostly financial stuff. I also moonlight for magazines now and then, mostly travel stuff, doesn't pay much but it's an excuse to go out and play, and right about it. Just had an article appear in a magazine covering adventure sports in Asia. Their standard format is to introduce an article with a double-page photo, with a little text intro on the left and the name of the country in big letters on the upper right. In this case the picture is a rather decent shot of me kayaking in a local stream, good way to introduce an article I wrote, I thought, except that they spelled "Philippines" wrong. I would gladly barbecue the editor. With or without the special sauce. It is never too late to escape.
