Let's look at Novell closely:

1) 1.1 billion in cash - positive

2) bad management - negative

3) no new exciting products that will drastically increase revenue coming out of the pipeline - negative

3) Increasing industry support and conversion to NT - negative

4) Microsoft - negative

5) Bad public image and lack of effective advertisement - negative

6) A recent consistent history of failures and dissapointments - negative

7) Rock the Net campaign - you must be joking!!

When you add it all up it doesn't look good for Novell. All this concerning a turnaround has already happened: a great company turned into a dismal one. In my opinion there can be no positives seen from todays and yesterdays action - only degrees of negative ones.
