Stan: noticed the same thing. They are definitely shorting it down and they will continue to buy in the lower it gets until they upgrade the stock.

Changing the subject, I went to Best Buy to purchase a Jaz. Asked them how they were selling. The manager said they were selling great. As I was standing at the counter a customer came in furious with the Syquest 230MB drive. He said that every time he attempts to read a disk the drive bay flips open. He was mad as hell and he traded it in on a Jaz! I asked him the clerk about the quality of the Sysquest, he indicated that several people have returned the Syquest drives. I asked him if he has had Jaz drives returned, he said not a single one (he said he is selling Jaz 10:1 over Syquest). I also asked him if he had in Jaz in stock, he said he was sold out. Asked if the Syquest drives were selling well and he said no. Now I know this is just one (big) store. But they sell quite a bit of equipment. Based on this very limited sample, the Jaz is eating Syquest alive both in sales and also in quality.
