ATTENTION....again the DOR is 4/30 Message 8983443 I suggest you look up definition of Date of Record...I believe some are mistaking the NYSE ex-dividend rule for cut-off date. This rule is followed by other exchanges but only indicates when the dividend is to be paid out 3 weeks from Ex-Dividend date which is usually 3 days before DOR.This comes direct from Money's Complete Guide to Personal Finance and Investment Terms.Details in regards to wether spin-off shares will be free trading or restricted has yet to be announced.
