You are wrong again in assuming that most of the Turkish voters who supported the former Islamic Party in Turkey did not vote for the extremist far right fanatics of the MHP.

> This 80 year tradition could be threatened if it is perceived in Turkey that their historic enemies, the Serbs and the Greeks are waging an unjust war against it's Muslim brethren.

Greeks waging war? All I see is a bunch of puppets following along a legacy obsessed Clinton and his incompetent advisors criminally attacking a sovereign country for handling an internal matter. All Greeks want is to stop this stupid war so the tourists continue to come...and all these refugees do not decided to enter Greece, there are enough there already.

> Turkey will not risk losing it's chance to join a modern Europe as a equal without overwhelming provocation.

Greece has the best card for that, a veto against each country considering entrance in the EEC. All the continued provocations of Turkey over the Aegean and Cyprus is just a negotiating ploy and for internal consumption...They know the veto power and will not do anything stupid but they would love to have more "independent" Muslims encircling Greece from the north.

> All the more reason to stop the nine year old war in the Balkans now

A good start may be to stop the bombing and give the Serbs an honorable agreement to sign, how about that?

You conveniently never mention the Kurdish problem in Turkey.
You continue to call the UN clusterphucks...well maybe if US paid their unpaid dues back to the UN maybe they could do a better job, NATO is sure making itself look like vicious clusterphucks.
