Daily Prospector News for April 19, 1999

Houston Lake Mining (HLM:ASE) confirmed the mineralisation of hole TL-95-09, drilled on the Kuhner occurrence at the Tib Lake PGE property in Ontario. The hole was previously reported as containing 1.68 g/t PGE's over 13.06 m true width. Re-splitting and re-assaying of the core returned 1.60 g/t PGE's over 13.06 m true width, containing 2.76 g/t PGE's over 5.28 m including 4.55 g/t PGE's over 1.51 m at a depth of about 30 m. The re-assaying came after hole TL-99-14, which was collared within 5.0 m of hole TL-95-09, returned values of 0.311 g/t PGE's over 10.6 m, with both holes intercepting a similar unit. The company says that a change in sulphide droplet size and content apparently explains the difference in values between the intercepts. (Apr 15/99)
