"Does that mean you owe the dividend" Oh my G-d!!!!!!! What grade are you in, the second??? If I short Ibm at dividend time, do I owe someone 10 cents a share?? My nomination is in for the dumbest question on a thread since the advent of the internet and it's the question that you just asked.
