Interesting that we didn't see any real peace in the middle east until Carter sat down with Begin and Sadat and gave about $2 billion to each one/year and divided up some land. Same thing happened with Arafat.
Now all of a sudden we decide to bomb when a couple $billion US dollars would probably have done the trick. So Clinton decides on 9 billion in bombs and billions later to fix up the countries. All this from a Pacifist draft dodger. Go figure.
