Well it isn't booming - but it looks like it could! Not the same league as Westell etc. but the potential for 300% on a penny play is always very attainable esp. with this kind of news coming out of the company. I have been watching a small VSE stock called dba Telecom and they have just formed a strategic alliance with Alcatel. Alcatel was instrumental in nailing the first contract for their new product the SmarTalk NRG.My impression is that this is a major coup for this tiny company that trades for .24 per share C$ ! The agreement with Telenor was facilitated in large part by Alcatel's enthusiasm for the dba SmarTalk NRG product family, resulting in an opening order of $315,000 and an annual forecast worth over $1,000,000.Alcatel will formally launch the Alliance with the company by showing the new SmarTalk product family alongside the Alcatel System 12 Centrex switch at the world's largest annual telecommunications exhibition,CEBIT, in Hanover Germany in March. Alcatel has operations in 120 countries and the company expects the Telenor deal to be the first of several contracts to result from this working alliance. First shipments to Telenor are expected to begin in May. The initial release will be for 1,500 units across the product range, with continuing deliveries to follow on a quarterly basis. |
