Depends why you bought them. If you bought them as a gamble, one can hardly argue with taking a profit. I bought my AMAT puts as a small hedge against my portfolio. If my portfolio goes to hell, at least I make money on the puts. Thus, I need to keep them until I perceive that the danger is over, and I am not trying to make a profit on them. I may make one, but that isn't necessarily the goal. For what its worth, I think the danger extends through Monday or Tuesday.
