The question that I have is...who wants to offer a definition of the term "commodity". One that fits the tech situation.

DRAM is a commodity.
And....when the price of DRAM drops too fast all the DRAM makers start an earnings drop.

More important..a commodity stock stops going UP UP UP,
but instead has up and down cycles.


IF (and I do not know at this time) DELL,CPQ,GTW,MUEI are now in
the commodity industry, then the great growth period is simply over....This is why DELL must get over 55 again !

Computers , like cars will eventually become a commodity.
It is just a question of when ?
