Mark: Your above comments are (as they almost always are) correct.
These sector rotations are strictly generated by market analysts and TV commentators who are looking for fresh financial topics to fill the air-waves. Does anyone on this thread think that the internet stocks are any more "overvalued" than they were one month ago? Would you rather have your portfolio loaded with oil-stocks, small-cap stocks that will collapse and never recover with any piece of adverse news or earnings, cyclical stocks like paper, energy, etc. etc. If so, GOOD LUCK!! I'll hold through this tech/internet correction and wait for the inevitable sharp rebound, when investors return to their senses.

My only sympathies are with investors that jumped in two or three weeks ago when CMGI was at 280-300 and are now down substantially. If you are in this position, do not sell at the bottom and lock in a steep loss. Hold on through a few of these tech/internet cycles until you have a nice profit or can sell a portion of your position(s) at long-term capital gains rates. Then, these non-fundamental "sell-offs" will not be as disconcerting.
