IBM and SGI embrace Apple's Quick Time software for use in servers Rich read the above in your "QuickTime" announcement post: " Apple(R) also announced that leading media server companies such as IBM and SGI are integrating QuickTime Streaming software into their product lines. " Sure hope reporters will print headlines of AAPL's news in a "open" industry context to include IBM and SGI . Wouldn't hurt either to note that IBM is contracted to "digitize" all of Sony's music . Let's see Mr J at first wanted $2 per FireWire board connection - wonder if .05 per song will be on the table ? ;>) Jim K.
